Protected by the magic of the Brotherhood of the Crystal Star, Toran is a shining beacon of hope and light in Magnamund. For the agents of Naar this light is a beacon of an altogether different kind. To them Toran is a candle begging to be extinguished, a smouldering ember that refuses to die and threatens to ignite the ashes all around it. The Darklords would cherish few things more than to see Toran fall and to reap the souls of its wizards from the ashes. Their agents have made countless attempts, both subtle and overt, to bring the city to its knees. So far none have come close.
